Dave Carlson

Dave Carlson has more than 16 years experience in the communication field helping his employers and clients better communicate their vision and marketing message.

Over the last six years, Dave has helped write, design and program more than 50 Web sites. He has been programming in HTML since 1996 and has successfully helped many of his clients obtain a presence on the Internet.

Dave is also a trained writer and has been writing, editing and proofing many forms of writing since 1988. He has been the managing editor of two subscription-based newsletter and has written dozens of brochures and articles. He has also managed several teams of writers, designers, video producers and account managers.

Dave was the managing editor of a book that has sold more than 20,000 copies. He was responsible for all the content of the book, wrote several portions of the text, participated in brainstorming the motif for the book, oversaw the design of the book, and managed the reprint of the book, which reduced the cost per book by more than 60 percent.

Dave also participated in writing a portion of a 16-page pamphlet that was created in 2002 to commemorate September 11. More than 10 million of these pamphlets have been printed and distributed in New York City, Washington, D.C., and throughout the United States.

Dave is the owner of an Internet marketing firm that specializes in Web design, email marketing and search engine optimization. Since starting this business two years ago, he has written and designed more than 50 Web sites.

Dave has helped one company develop new leads through their Web sites, which has helped them increase sales from $1 million in sales per year to more than $5 million in sales. In summer of 2001, they had no Internet presence and now, through search engine optimization, they are receiving more than 9,000 visits a month through search engines and pay per clicks.

Through email marketing, he helped a MBA program in Florida promote several of their programs, and helped them secure their largest and most qualified group of students they have ever had.
